Itinerary
Day 1 :- Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri – Darjeeling (95 kms / 3 Hrs.)
Arrive Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and you will be met our representative and transfer to Darjeeling. Upon arrival check in to the hotel. Unpack your bag and relax and then you can walk around town to appreciate the new culture you are in. Darjeeling, a scenic hill resort town in Eastern India, is surrounded by Tea gardens on one side, and the mighty Himalayan peaks on the other. It is the place of Dorje, the mystic thunderbolt of the Lama-Religion. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 2 Darjeeling
Early morning start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (World’s 3rd highest peak of Himalaya) and Mount Everest etc. One can see the horizon changing colors just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turns golden. Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial while returning to the Hotel. Have your delicious breakfast at the Hotel and then proceed for a half day sightseeing tour including the Padmaja N. Zoological Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center, Ropeway etc. Evening Free for shopping & independent activities. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 3 Darjeeling - Gangtok (105 kms / 4 Hrs).
After breakfast, check out the hotel and proceed to Gangtok. At an altitude of 5500ft, Gangtok is the capital of the state of Sikkim, is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. Gangtok is truly a traveler’s delight. Evening at leisure to explore the city on your own. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 4 Excursion to Tsomgo lake &Baba Mandir
Early morning start for a half day trip to Tsomgo lake (12400ft) also known as Changu lake, 32kms from Gangtok. The lake is almost about 1Km long, oval in shape and 15 mtrs deep. The lake derives its waters from melting snows off the surrounding mountains. The lake is considered sacred by the local people and Legends say that lamas could forecast the future by studying the color of the lake's waters. Also visit the Baba Mandir. Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and independent activities. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 5 Gangtok – Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri (114kms/ 5 Hrs.)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station for your onward journey
