About Sliding Puzzle
The Sliding Puzzle (also called the 15-puzzle) is a classic brain teaser. Fifteen numbered tiles sit in a 4x4 frame with one empty space. Slide tiles into the gap to rearrange them until they're back in order from 1 to 15. Every shuffle is solvable — the challenge is doing it in as few moves as you can.
How to play
- Tap a tile next to the empty space to slide it in.
- Work the tiles toward their numbered order, 1 through 15.
- The empty square is your only room to maneuver.
- Solve the top rows first, then work down.
- Finish with all tiles in order and the gap in the corner.
