Mahjong solitaire is a tile-matching puzzle built on the classic Mahjong set. Find matching pairs among the tiles that are free on at least one side, remove them, and work your way down through the layered layout until the board is empty. Calm, methodical, and genuinely tricky once the easy matches run out.

How to play

• Tap two identical tiles to remove them as a pair.
• A tile can only be matched if it is free on its left or right edge and has nothing on top.
• Flower and season tiles match within their own group.
• Work on the upper layers to free the tiles underneath.
• Clear every tile to finish the layout.

Controls: Tap a tile, then tap its match. Pinch or drag to look around on small screens.

Tips

• Scan the whole board before taking an obvious pair — one of the two may be needed elsewhere.
• Clear tiles that unlock the most pieces underneath first.
• When four identical tiles are all free, take all four so you cannot strand a pair.
