Don't
Do not wipe the glass with cold damp cloth immediately after the cooktop is turned off. This may shatter the glass or can cause injury to anybody around.
Do not keep oven (tandoor) / or any object upturned on the cooktops. This may cause glass breakage due to extensive heat beyond the approved limit.
Do not clean the cooktop with any abrasive substance or chemical. This can cause discolouring or change of finish from the actual one.
Do's
Always check that the cooktop is turned off immediately after the work is done. Please make sure that the gas cylinder is turned off at the end of the work.
Always keep the burner holes clean and make sure that they are not choked. Clean the burner immediately if any food or liquid spills over them.
In case you are using pipeline gas / CNG, other than LPG, please ask the Gas Company’s authorised technician to change with compatible jet for its smooth functioning.
Clean the cooktop with a damp cloth when it’s not hot. Do not use any harsh chemicals for cleaning.
While using a lighter to ignite the burner, keep a distance of atleast 0.5 cm between them to prevent gas from burning in the Gas pipe. In case this happens, immediately switch off the burner.
Make sure that there are no inflammables near the cooktop. When the cooktop is in use check from time to time that it burns normally.
If any smell of gas is felt, open the windows, turn off the cooktop / fuel supply / cylinder immediately and call the authorised technician of gas / cooktop company’s technicican for a check up.or cooktop company
